DEARBED
is an autobiographical durational performance piece that sheds light on the complexity of students’ lives in Haverford, Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore College by featuring their stories through the lens of the college bed. The project consists of an ongoing performance across 4/7 and 4/8 for 28 hours, along with an interactive, open exhibition in Founders Great Hall, which is the most iconic building on Haverford campus, incorporating monologues from students. A variety kinds of subject matter addressed in this piece includes: rape culture, depression, one-night stand, karaoke party, to semen on mattress. The exhibition space is open 24/7 and the audience are welcome to stay as long as you want.
